Harbor Patrol
TLDR: I'm building Harbor Patrol, a desktop app that checks for security vulnerabilities in your local web projects.
The web is an ocean—endless in possibilities. Your website is likely just a raft, barely afloat and vulnerable to the elements and all the lurkers in the waters. It's not difficult to upgrade from a raft to a proper boat or even a ship. You'll never be unsinkable, but you can be much less easily sinkable with minimal effort.
There's a tsunami of LLM-powered hacking about to hit, and your raft isn't going to make it.
I'm building Harbor Patrol to help developers, vibe coders, and anyone else shipping websites find, understand, and fix vulnerabilities before attackers do. The power of LLMs is allowing me to build something much closer to a human-performed penetration test than has been possible before. I guarantee the bad guys are building similar tools, but they're scanning the open waters looking for vulnerable vessels.
Vibe coders aren't the only ones ignoring security. It's an afterthought for most developers. Most websites are never tested for vulnerabilities and I want to change that.
My goal is to create something that requires no prior security knowledge and gets as close to a professional pen test performed by a human, but at a fraction of the cost—or even free.
